Andy joined the Watford Hospitals Broadcasting Service (WHBS) in 1978. In the 1980’s the radio station at Watford Hospital split from Hemel Hempstead and the station was renamed Watford Hospital Radio (W.H.R.) ... we have been here ever since!
Andy has put out all kinds of programmes over the years but for the last 15 years he has occupied the Friday slot with "Friday Live" - 9.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.
At present Andy is Station Manager but has filled various other committee positions over the years and still enjoys meeting the patients and playing their requests.
