Christina joined Watford Hospital Radio in October 2011 after graduating from the University of Portsmouth in Media. During her second year as a student in Portsmouth, she volunteered as part of her course at Express FM. Her passion for Radio and Music began when Christina was just a kid, being heavily influenced by her brother who Club DJs as a past time. Christina's taste in music is so wide, from indie to hip-hop and mo-town to rock, there isn't any genre of music Christina hasn't experimented with. In her spare time, Christina likes to find new and up and coming musicians to listen to, as the music scene is always growing with talent.
' The Music Education Show ' -- Wednesdays 7-9pm.
What is The Music Education Show? It's simple. For two hours each week, I will bring to our listeners a different outlook on music. I am not educating our listeners on whether a song has a 4/4 time beat or whether a rhythm is staccato, I am simply bringing in some context to the different music I will play each week. For example? The day I might be presenting on may be Australia day, so to fit the theme I will play some music by some Aussie artists, or one theme could be about how artists and genres link together, using different samples and beats. My aim is to just delight my audience with interesting musical facts in the most entertaining way.
